Quality Childcare at Affordable Prices in Cambridge

Clarence House Cambridge is a homely nursery with a community feel in Cambridge.

Located in Chesterton just off of Green End Rd in the Old Church Hall our homely nursery is perfectly positioned for the local housing estates and surrounding neighbourhoods. Though many of our parents choose us for our lovely warm, community feel we do attract a number of commuting parents – largely down to our close proximity to the Cambridge Science Park and the A14.

Our expert and dedicated team cares for children aged 12 weeks up to the age of 5, in rooms specifically designed to provide tailored, age and stage-appropriate activities and experiences.

Things we love about our nursery

  • Homely feel and relatively small nursery
  • Friendly and dedicated team of staff
  • Garden with soft tarmac ‘roads’ and all weather areas
  • Outdoor climbing frame and educational equipment
  • Outdoor covered play area
  • Multi lingual staff
  • Well-placed for Cambridge Science Park and A14
  • Parking for easy drop-off and pick-up

Homely and Friendly Environment

The team at Clarence House Cambridge prides itself on delivering a friendly and homely environment for our babies, toddlers and preschool children – helping children to settle quickly and parents to relax.

Here at Clarence House Cambridge we are particularly proud of our lovely garden with its soft tarmac and all weather play areas filled with educational activities as well as fun things like our climbing frame and large sand pit. We also have a vegetable patch where the children can grow their own vegetables, a mud kitchen – always a favourite with all the children and a ‘bug hotel’ where all the local insects check in.

Additional Activities

We offer Monkeynastix as an extra-curricular activity – helping to develop hand-eye coordination, balance, teamwork and physical development.

We also include as standard Yoga Dance, Cook With Me, Green Fingers, Science is Fun and Ready4School.

Local schools

Our preschool children tend to move on to nearby schools including Shirley Primary School, Chesterton Primary School, Milton Road Primary School, Abbey Meadows Primary School and Arbury Primary School.
