Welcome to Clarence House Tattershall Nursery

We know how important finding the right childcare for your child is to you. At Clarence House Nursery Tattershall we will always ‘Put Your Child First’. Our aim is to help your child extend and further develop key skills at every level whilst having tremendous fun and making new friends at the same time.

We aim to provide the very best in quality childcare.

Nestled in the heart of Tattershall Market, our nursery provides a warm, home-from-home environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow. Conveniently located next to a free two-hour car park by the Co-op, drop-offs and pick-ups are stress-free for busy families.

A Nurturing, Natural Environment

Clarence House Tattershall Nursery is a small nursery for 40 children aged from 12 weeks to 5 years. We can care for 9 babies, 15 toddlers and 16 pre-schoolers a day.

Each age group has a dedicated room, designed to encourage independence and meaningful play. Every age room has its own garden area so that children have the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor spaces when they choose.

Children also have access to a larger natural garden area for climbing, exploration, and discovery. Plus, we regularly visit local nature spots to extend their learning beyond the nursery walls.

Child-centred learning

The child is at the heart of everything we do, and our child centred approach to learning gives children the chance to play and explore and learn at their own pace. Inspired by the curiosity approach, we focus on supporting children with the 3 prime areas of learning – personal, social and emotional development, communication and physical development. We encourage children to be independent learners while recognising our vital role as educators in bridging developmental gaps and providing the support they need to thrive.

Our staff at Clarence House Nursery Tattershall are experienced and dedicated to the nursery. The team are well qualified and dedicated to the children and prioritise all their needs, health, care and wellbeing. Nutritious meals provided

We provide nutritious, home-cooked style meals, ensuring children enjoy a varied and balanced diet each day. Our meals are carefully planned to offer a wide range of flavours, textures and ingredients, introducing children to new tastes and healthy eating habits.

We believe that mealtimes are more than just eating—they are an opportunity for learning, social interaction, and independence. Children are encouraged to serve themselves, set the table, and clear their plates, fostering confidence and essential life skills.

We cater to a variety of dietary needs and ensure that every child has a wholesome meal that supports their growth, energy, and well-being throughout the day.

Flexible Sessions

We understand that every family has different childcare requirements, which is why we offer a range of flexible sessions to accommodate your schedule. Families can choose from full-week care for those seeking regular nursery attendance, full-day sessions that provide children with plenty of time to play, learn, and grow, or short-day sessions for those who prefer a slightly reduced day. We also offer half-day sessions, available in the morning or afternoon, for families who require part-time care.

For families eligible for government-funded childcare, we offer grant-funded sessions, including both 15 and 30-hour funding. These sessions provide access to high-quality early education at no extra cost to parents, helping children get the best start in a supportive learning environment.

Our flexible approach ensures that every child receives consistent, engaging care while giving parents the freedom to choose a schedule that works for them. Get in touch to discuss the best option for your family!
