Located in the quiet village of Papworth Everard our nursery is perfectly positioned for the local area. Our community involvement attracts many of our customers and we have the great advantage of attracting commuting parents due to our close proximity to the A428.
Our expert and dedicated team cares for children aged 12 weeks up to the age of 5 in rooms specifically designed to provide tailored, age and stage-appropriate activities and experiences.

Homely and Friendly Environment
The team at Clarence House Papworth prides itself on delivering a friendly and homely environment for our babies, toddlers and preschoolers – helping children to settle quickly and parents to relax.
Here at Clarence House Papworth we are particularly proud of our lovely baby area with its timber room giving it a very homely unique feel. Our garden with its all-weather play surface filled with educational activities ensures that children can be outside in all weathers. We also have a vegetable patch where the children can grow their own vegetables, a mud kitchen – always a favourite with all the children and a ‘bug hotel’ where all the local insects check in.
Additional Activities
We include as standard, Yoga Dance, Cook With Me, Green Fingers, Science is Fun and Ready4School.
Local Schools
We work extremely closely with the Pendragon Community Primary School to ensure that the children receive a good transition to school. We have meetings with the school and take on board what the Reception teachers are doing so we can introduce the same practice here.

Jemma has been part of Clarence House Nurseries since 2016 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role, having previously managed several other settings within the group. With over 30 years of dedication to early years education, she is a passionate advocate for high-quality nursery care.
Jemma is committed to creating welcoming, home-from-home environments where children feel safe, secure and inspired to learn. She follows a curiosity-led approach, offering a rich and engaging curriculum that encourages exploration and discovery. With a deep love of literacy, she enjoys weaving books, storytelling and singing into daily routines to support and enhance children’s language development.
Outside of nursery life, Jemma loves reading, visiting the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
