Clarence House Nursery Luton is a homely nursery and preschool on Lansdowne Road in Luton. We take care of children ages 3 months to 5 years.
We also provide Holiday Club for children up to 11 years old.
Clarence House Luton is situated in a central location and the within walking distance to the town centre and train station. The nursery is set on a corner plot and has a lovely spacious garden and rooms to accommodate babies, toddlers and a large preschool room.
The child is at the heart of everything we do, and our child centred approach to learning gives children the chance to play and explore and learn at their own pace, developing new skills and making learning fun.

Homely and Friendly Environment
The team at Clarence House Luton are very proud of our nursery, delivering a warm, friendly and homely learning environment for babies, toddlers and preschool children.
This warm and friendly environment is set in a beautiful house and has a warm and home-from-home feel. The nursery strives to ensure your children will feel safe and valued, and you will feel confident with the care they provide.

Outside space
We have a large garden where children can explore all weather activities. We also have a mud kitchen and an area where children can grow their own vegetables. We have a separate garden for the babies to play safely.
Local Schools
The preschool children go on to attend Riverbank, Denbigh, Bushmead, Icknield, Warden Hill and St Josephs primary schools.
Fees, Funding & Government Support
We offer funded early education places in line with current government guidance, including 15 and 30 hours funding for eligible families.
Funded hours are applied to session fees only. We do not charge any additional fees or compulsory extras on funded sessions.
All meals and snacks are included as part of the session, meaning there are no additional charges for food.

Manager: Mumtahina Rahman
Mumtahina joined Clarence House Day Nursery in August 2024 as Deputy Manager, Preschool Room Leader and SENCO, and became the Nursery Manager in August 2026.
She has been working in early years since 2019, having completed her BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education, alongside qualifications in Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Makaton and Paediatric First Aid. Mumtahina has progressed from Senior Nursery Nurse to Room Leader and SENCO, gaining valuable experience across all areas of early years practice. She is passionate about children’s right to play, curiosity and holistic development, with a particular interest in supporting children with SEN. She enjoys making a positive impact, supporting children and staff to grow and thrive, and continuously striving to provide high-quality care and practice.
In her spare time, Mumtahina enjoys reading, exploring new places, spending time outdoors and discovering new things.
